Have you ever seen a paper egg tray?
The brown-colored tray made from recycled paper that protects eggs during transportation or allows them to be stacked on store shelves—that is pulp mold.

“Pulp mold,” or molded fiber, is a type of packaging that many people may not recognize by name. Most people are more familiar with corrugated paper or offset printing paper. However, pulp molding has been used for a long time.
Its origins date back to 1890, when wood pulp was first recorded as being used for forming products. In 1904, Martin L. Keyes registered the first U.S. patent for a fiber pulp molding machine, designed to produce items such as egg trays*.
In the production process, molded pulp products are carefully designed and engineered. They provide excellent shock absorption against drops and impacts during transportation, helping to prevent product damage. At the same time, they can also be designed with aesthetic appeal to suit different product types, including premium packaging and various custom-shaped products.
Sarnti Green Pack Co., Ltd. has over 30 years of manufacturing experience. What many people may not know is that pulp mold can be used for far more than protective packaging. For example, it can be developed into paper bags, soap boxes, and many other innovative products depending on creativity.
